KEK BATIK AND CHOCOLATE, CHOCOLATE....

Dapat order utk kek batik. Tak pernah buat sebelum ni. Anak sedaraku Hanan Ben memang pro buat kek nih. Buat bisnes kat kolej nye. So makteh dah dapat order, kenalah try buat. Amacam anak sedaraku..kita compare notes lah ye..

First try guna resepi iluvislam.com. Hmm..orang lain kata OK, but for myself..too sweet for my tastebud. Mmg resepi ni dh pakai susu pekat, pakai gula lagi, tambah milo plak tuh..huk2 huk..serat tekakku. Search lagi..merge and modify..came up ngan resepi nih..semua resepiku di cookinbuzz. Harga sebiji kek batik 6x6 inci, about 1.5 inch tall ni, RM20. Beratnya agak2 900gm.

Dah 2 minggu dok ngulit coklat je. Dah tak pandang dah lebihan2 coklat tuh. Tapi alhamdulillah, kan rezki.. walaupun bukan untung ribu2 tapi kepuasan dan kegembiraan tu juga rezki dan rahmat dari Allah swt.

CHOCOLATE MOIST CAKE

Lama betol tak update blog nih.. Sampai ada orang tanya, ellina dah tak buat kek ke. Insyaallah masih buat lagi kalau ada orang tempah. Lately agak sibuk sikit mengurus family (che abang kita kerja luar for 2 months)and mana2 order yang dibuat tak sempat tangkap gambarnya

Kek chocolate moist masih tetap yang paling popular dan digemari. Ada juga tempahan utk cupcakes..first time ambik order buat orange cake and cupcakes and carrot cakes with cream cheese frosting..

TQ Cikgu Aisyah... first time buat teddy bear gumpaste. Alhamdulillah jadi jugak walaupun tak perfect..boroi perutnye..kotak hadiah purple dan dan biru ada coklat didalam..

Hiasan Gumpaste

Saya baru belajar cara guna gumpaste. Bahan2 dah lama beli dah, more than 5 months dah barang2 tu tersepuk dalam storage box. Ingatkan renyah dan melekit2. Surprisingly, membuatnya cukup mudah. Masa tu mata terpacak tengok CSI New York. Tak sampai 10 minit dah jadi dah gumpaste nya. Very easy to work on and you can keep the gumpaste for long in the fridge or in the freezer longer. Resepinya  ada di cookinbuzz. (Cuti sekolah ni, memang lebih banyak kerja nak diselesaiakan and laptop ni pun ramai pulak penggunanya.) Untuk dua kek ni, saya cut-out alphabet menggunakan alphabet cutter. Idea paling simple dan memang nampak kelainannya. Lain kali akan cari idea hiasan yang lebih mencabar.

Orange cake .. dua lapis cream dan chopped peaches. Frosting seluruh kek dgn fresh cream.

Hiasan yg sangat simple.. sebenarnya dah tak sempat nk pikir. Tuan kek dh nk ambil 1 jam lepas tuang coklat  ganache atas kek..... Kek chocolate moist Mrs Dayat.

Berjaya buat coklat

Alhamdulillah.. dah berjaya buat coklat. Ha..ha.. coklat compound je. Sap..sap..soi je nak cairkan. Belum lagi cuba guna couverture chocolate. Belajar dari blog nih. Thank you very much. Dah went through tutorial. Rasa-rasanya boleh buat insyaAllah.

Ni chocolate yang dah berjaya buat. Buat dua batch. First batch habis petang tu juga. Second batch, buat next day, senang sangat. Sesiapa pun boleh buat guna compound chocolate ni. Next time, nak try guna couverture chocolate pulak. Mesti sedap. First grade chocolate.

Happy birthday my sweet seventeen. As usual, every birthday in this family awaits a celebration. At least, a cake... walid reciting doa and everyone sings the b'day song.

Untuk umi pula, diraikan bukan perkara terpenting. Usia dah 40-an.. Bukan malu dengan diri yg semakin tua, tp dgn amal yg begitu sikit. Mudah2 an usia yang berbaki tetap dlm petunjuk dan hidayah-Nya. Tapi hati tetap terusik dgn effort cek abang... print poster utk raikan umi & naja.

Ramadhan..mudah2an tak sia2

Separuh Ramadhan dah berlalu. Hmm..tak sebagus tahun2 sebelum ni. A few nights tak larat nk habiskn terawih 8 rakaat. Baca tahiyat akhir entah brp kali ulang.. akhirnya bagi salam, lipat telekung.

Apa yg tak kene. Sedihnya.. risau. Usia yg meningkat..cepat letih or iman makin lemah??! Finally, last night twas a big difference. Was it the hope and doa yg dipanjatkan or the good two hour sleep in the afternoon??.. Apa pun kesyukuran tak terhingga dipanjat pada Ilahi. May it be the same for the rest of Ramadhan..

Doa yg diajar Rasulullah s.a.w kepada seorang sahabat. Kita kongsi sama.... "YaAllah, bantulah aku utk mengingati-Mu, bantulah aku menjadi hamba-Mu yg bersyukur dan bantulah aku dalam menegakkan ibadah kepada-Mu"..
